Reference number: 20050336 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2025-03-10 Electronic tender submission accepted Yes, via SEAO, with a document Expected contract duration without options (in months) 7 The work covered by this contract is located at 715, De Lestres, in the borough of Sainte-Foy-Sillery-Cap-Rouge, and includes, but is not limited to: The City of Quebec recently acquired platform-type lifts for the maintenance and repair of motorized equipment. The main objective of this project is to modernize the repair shop facilities by replacing the existing lifts with more efficient models that are better suited to the city's current needs. The aim of the project is to ensure that the equipment installed is safe, functional and durable, while complying with current technical standards and safety requirements. This call for tenders relates specifically to the installation of a new platform lift, including the construction of the infrastructure required for its integration as well as the demolition of existing lifting installations and equipment. The work will take place in the repair workshop of the municipal garage and will be carried out on three adjacent aisles of the garage. 1. Driveway in front of Garage Door #1: Demolition and reconstruction work: Demolition of the existing repair pit, including removal of all connected elements (plumbing, compressed air systems, ventilation, electricity, etc.). Construction of a new concrete slab to replace the demolished pit, with levelling and drainage adapted to the requirements of the workshop for optimal operation. 2. Driveway in front of Garage Door #2: Removal and installation work: Disassembly of the existing piston elevator (Ford Smith type), and removal of connections to plumbing, compressed air, ventilation and electrical systems. Installation of the platform lift: This lift will be embedded in the concrete slab of the garage. Work includes: Construction of a dedicated elevator pit, equipped with appropriate drainage and ventilation systems to ensure safe operation and compliance with standards. Connection of the elevator control unit to electrical and compressed air networks. Installation of conduits to provide necessary services (electricity, compressed air) between the elevator and its control unit. 3. Driveway in front of Garage Door #3: Demolition and reconstruction work: Disassembly of the existing scissor lift (type Eco 60), with removal of connections to plumbing, compressed air, ventilation and electricity systems. Demolition of the scissor lift pit, including removal of associated connections. Construction of a new reinforced concrete slab, which will replace the scissor lift, with proper levelling and drainage to ensure the facility’s sustainability. 4. Common to all slabs: For each of the concrete slabs to be constructed, the following requirements must be met: Adequate levelling and drainage to ensure optimal operation of the elevators, while respecting the operating and maintenance constraints of the garage. Proper covering of each slab in accordance with applicable safety and durability standards. * Award is subject to final approval.
