Renovation of a mixed-use development in Manhattan, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project Location: 920 N M.L.K. Jr. Dr., Manhattan, KS 66506. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: The existing building is a two-story building with concrete structure. Exterior walls are stone with CMU back up wall. Existing interior walls are generally 8" cmu and metal studs and plaster. Roof structure is a concrete slab with a low slope roof membrane atop rigid insulation. The project will include new construction and renovation of the existing Small Animal Surgery Suite. Each bid submitted in connection with this Project shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, payable without condition to the State of Kansas. Questions concerning the Instructions to Bidders, Form of Contract, Insurances and Bonds shall be addressed to the Office of Procurement and Contracts, Department of Administration, Suite 451S, 900 S.W. Jackson Street, Topeka, Kansas 66612, telephone (785) 296-0002. Value: $1,000,000 to $3,000,000 Budget: $1,100,250. All contractors bidding as the prime bidder on this project must be pre-qualified with Office of Facilities and Property Management to bid this project.
