The proposed work includes: furnish and install all materials, track removal, turnout relocation and rehabilitation, earthwork, culvert installation, waterline removal, sewer line removal, sewer manhole installation, embankment stabilization, subballast placement, track and turnout construction, renewal of at-grade crossings, tie renewal, ballast placement, surfacing and utility agency coordination and approval. Bidders shall be qualified to do business and licensed in accordance with all applicable laws of the state and local governments where the Project is located. Bidders shall demonstrate competency for contract award through a minimum three (3) year history of comparable project completion. Bidder shall provide a project list and references prior to bid opening by e-mailing to Engineer Michael Atzert at mpatzert@burnsmcd.com with carbon copy (CC) to john@pemiscotport.com Bid security in the form of a certified check or cashier's check or bank draft, payable to the order of Pemiscot County Port Authority, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid price shall be submitted with each Bid. Pemiscot County Port Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities or informalities therein, and all Bidders shall agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of Pemiscot County Port Authority.
