The work for the 2025 PUMP STATION LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work described in the Specifications. The work consists of the landscaping maintenance and snow removal at the fifty-two (52) EHTMUA pump stations and the clearing of three (3) easements. The work is located within Egg Harbor Township at the fifty-two (52) EHTMUA pump stations situated throughout the Township and three (3) easements as described in the Specifications. The landscaping maintenance shall be completed on a bi-monthly basis, while each easement shall be cleared twice a season, and snow removal shall be performed on an as needed basis when a substantial snowfall occurs that interrupts or prevents normal Authority maintenance for the entire duration of the contract. The contract will be in effect for a period of one (1) year with the possibility of up to two (2) one-year extensions. All work shall be completed in accordance with the contract documents or subject to liquidated damages of $500.00 per day. No bid will be received unless in writing on the forms furnished, and unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Owner in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of the total bid, provided that the said security need not be more than $20,000 nor less than $500.00 and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Successful bidders must provide a photocopy of their Certificate of Employee Information Report or the pink copy of the AA-302 form within seven (7) days after the notification of intent to award the contract or receipt of contract, whichever is sooner. Failure to do so will result in the bid being rejected as nonresponsive. After receipt of bids, no bid shall be withdrawn except as expressly authorized herein. The Owner shall award the Contract or reject all bids within 60 days of bid opening, except that the bids of any bidders who consent thereto may, at the request of the Owner, be held for con sider ation for such longer period as may be agreed. The Owner will evaluate bids and any award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informali ties or irregularities in bids received.
