The City's objective is to contract with a qualified, competent, experienced and State of Florida licensed/certified Contractor to provide the design, engineering, permitting, materials and installation to replace one (1) storage pole barn and one (1) pole barn style canopy that will cover aggregate storage bins. This contract and issued services/commodities will be in full accordance with Federal Uniform Guidance, 2 CFR 200. Question Deadline 03/14/2025 at 3:00 PM ET. Bidders shall address all questions and request clarification for a Solicitation Package to the Purchasing Agent. Questions shall be submitted via email, fax or hard copy and shall be received by the question and clarification deadline stated. All answers to questions submitted will be published and answered in a manner that all bidder will be able to view. WAIVER OF RIGHTS. Failure to post a question or request for clarification by the established date and time shall constitute a waiver of the Bidder's rights to protest the Solicitation Package, inclusive of addenda. State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC), or Certified Building Contractor (CBC), or Registered General Contractor (RG), or Registered Building Contractor (RB) are required to perform services for this project. Solicitation Package Protest deadline: March 4, 2025 at 3:00 PM ET a) Contractor(s) to furnish an engineered design proposal, permitting, fabrication and installation one (1) 24' x 48' metal framed, pole barn style canopy and one (1) 80'x28'x16' replacement aluminum/steel storage pole barn. The construction shall be similar to what is typically utilized in the RV/boat/mini storage market. b) This work shall consist of all design, engineering, permitting, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for furnishing and installing the bin cover/canopy and pole barn in conformance with the specifications described herein and as shown on the attached Exhibits. (F2023104E1, F2023104E2, & F2023104E3) c) Location: Utilities and Public Works Campus, 3130 and 3132 Cooper Street, Punta Gorda, FL 33950 (ATTACHMENT #F2023104E1 is the layout of the campus and where the bin cover/canopy and pole barn will be located.) PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS a) All work to be performed shall fully conform to the requirements of the current State of Florida Building Code using current industry commercial standards. b) The bin cover/canopy, pole barn and associated materials shall be new stock. c) Color choices shall be submitted for selection of any painted materials by City Representative. d) Bidders shall include with their Submittal Package for POLE BARN AND AGGREGATE STORAGE BIN COVER REPLACEMENT the following document(s): i) Detailed description of the bin cover/canopy and pole barn, which shall include descriptions of materials proposed; and ii) Plan schematics for the bin cover/canopy and pole barn; and iii) Conceptual drawings or photos of the bin cover/canopy and pole barn proposed
