Correctional Services Canada (CSC) requires a service of a contractor to replace the C33 loading dock at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The renovation of the C33 loading dock will include the selective demolition of existing loading dock components and the construction of a new enclosed loading dock. The new addition will have a structural cast-in-place concrete foundation supported by helical piles and a structural steel frame roof structure with metal-clad walls and roof covering. Additionally, landscaping and rainwater drainage work will be carried out in the vicinity of the loading dock. Mechanical works will include the modification of existing stormwater lines, installation of a portable fire extinguisher, and a new ventilation system. Electrical work will involve adding lighting and a lighting control system, branch devices, mechanical equipment and power connections complete with branch wiring and conduits. The fire alarm system will also be part of the electrical system and ancillaries. This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase process: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers; the second phase (Phase Two) will invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The qualification list will expire within 60 days or upon award of a contract in Phase Two, whichever is earlier, and the prequalification list will not be used in any other solicitation.
