Rebid Concrete and Asphalt Restoration Part 1 The purpose and intent of this contract will be to award a qualified vendor to perform restoration of concrete and asphalt sections of roads, curbs, driveways and sidewalks; concrete and site/yard work, including repairing, resurfacing and/or sodding, concrete, asphalt and/or lawn areas; and cast-in-place concrete work for utility construction or rehabilitation, such as slabs on grade, small vaults, site-cast bases for precast units, and any associated work (restoration) within city limits (including roads maintained by TX DOT). The work involving restoration of concrete and asphalt sections of roads, curbs, driveways and sidewalks and concrete and site/yard work will be performed after City crews have repaired water and wastewater sewer lines. The pavement repair size is dependent upon the excavation for repair of a utility line. This includes pavement of both smaller sections of various sizes and panel to panel of a road section. Other work may include bedding, backfill and restoring surfaces around work area. Refer to various street cut, and pavement drawings included in this project manual.
