Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lewiston, Maine. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and transportation facility.
Previous Cl P's funded design of a nearly 500 car parking lot to prepare for Part 139 commercial air service. The airport will not be getting scheduled commercial service and the capital dollars allocated to build that project were moved to the East Ramp rehab several years ago. The entrance drive to the terminal building use by customers, visitors, and the staff of tenants continues to deteriorate, drains poorly, and needs to be rehabilitated. This would reconstruct the parking/drive areas from Flight Line Drive east to the terminal building, including both parking areas. As of February 28, 2025, this project is included in the city's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
