OWNER The Town of Neenah acting through its Town Board hereby gives notice that Bids will be received for the following described project. PROJECT The work shall consist of reconstructing Larsen Road from Clayton Avenue to CTH CB including the construction of a 10-foot wide asphalt recreation trail. The total project length is 1.0 miles. This is a Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) project and will consist of the following approximate quantities: o Excavation Common: 12,275 C.Y. o Excavation Marsh: 10,912 C.Y. Select Borrow: 6,652 C.Y. o Base Aggregate 1% Inch: 12,822 Tons Breaker Run: 27,938 Tons o Asphalt Pavement: 7,292 Tons Storm Sewer. 2,584 L.F. o Culvert Pipes: 310 L.F. Fence Chain Link Salvaged: 1,045 L.F. o Pavement Marking: 20,060 L.F. Restoration: 17,347 S.Y. o Traffic Signals BID SECURITY No Bid shall be received unless accompanied by a Certified Check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to the Town of Neenah in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum Bid as a guarantee that, if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance/Payment Bonds and Insurance Certification, as required by the Contract Documents, within 15-days after the Notice of Award. BID REJECTION The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in Bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids which best serves the interests of the Town of Neenah. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60-days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER.
