This project includes, but is not limited to, addition of new turbo blower with control panel, controls, electrical feed and miscellaneous accessories for a fully operational new turbo blower at the Sanger Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bidder should submit questions regarding the design of the project is online. However, bidders may direct questions regarding the project to Jeffrey E. If there are any questions concerning the specifications, or other bid documents or any part thereof, questions must be submitted by noon on Thursday, March 13 , 2025, through the online. Proposals shall be accompanied by either a Bid Bond from a surety satisfying the requirements specified below for the Performance Bond, Payment Bond and any other bonds set forth in the Contract Documents, or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than 5 percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to the City of Sanger, TX as a guarantee that the Bidder will within ten (10) days after Notice of Award enter into a Contract and furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and any other bonds set forth in the Contract Documents upon the forms provided, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the Contract price, from a surety licensed to conduct business in the state where the Project is located and named in the current list of "Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds" as published in Circular 570 (amended) by the Audit Staff Bureau of Accounts, U.S. Treasury Department. The City of Sanger reserves the right to reject any or all bids and accept or reject any formalities. Award shall be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder; however, the City of Sanger reserves the right, after evaluation of all bids received, to make no recommendation to its City Council regarding the award of any bid in the event non-responsive, non-conforming, or otherwise unacceptable bids are received, or if budgetary constraints or other unanticipated factors exist. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date bids are opened.
