Site work for a water / sewer project in Macon, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of installing approximately 3038 LF of 18" SDR 26 PVC Sanitary Sewer by Open Trench. Pipe material to be furnished by the Macon Water Authority. All bid questions must be submitted to the Owner by 10:00 A.M. on -Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid, prepared on the form of Bid Bond that is part of the Contract Documents, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570. The successful Bidder for this Project shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, satisfactory to the Owner, each in the amount of 100 % of the Contract Price. The Project will be awarded in one Contract. Fifty-one percent (51%) of the Work under the Contract Documents must be self-performed by the General Contractor. The Project will be awarded by base bid on a lump sum basis for the performance and completion of all Work required by the Contract Documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and technicalities.
