The primary purpose of this grant project is to revitalize two primary roadways within the City of Lipan's City Limits. A preconstruction meeting can be held to discuss any discrepancies or concerns and to review expectation. The material shall be Type A Grade 1, Type A Grade 2 or approved by the City representative. The HMAC pavement design requires a minimum of 4" surface of HMAC Type D materials. Gandy Street reconstruction will entail the removal/milling of approximately 3,476 square yards of the existing top HMAC surface, remove the base material and replace both components with new materials.Target width of this new road will be approximately 20 feet. There will be very minimal grading as it will not be required to redevelop the roadside ditches. Final grading at the closing of the project will be to connect the surfaces with a smooth transitional grade similar to the existing transition grading. Rippetoe Street reconstruction will entail the removal/milling of approximately 1,976 square yards of the existing top HMAC surface, remove the base material and replace both components with new materials. Target width of this new road will be approximately 18 feet. There will be very minimal grading as it will not be required to redevelop the roadside ditches. Final grading at the closing of the project will be to connect the surfaces with a smooth transitional grade similar to the existing transition grading.
