Renovation of a municipal facility in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The scope of this project is to replace the roofs of the Arrivals, and Maintenance and Repair buildings, at Port of Seattle's Terminal 5. The below scope elements apply to both buildings. oDemolish and replace existing coping and sheet metal flashing. oProvide a moisture scan of low slope roof areas. Replace any wet existing roof, complete to match details and specs. oProvide a roof overlay system as detailed and specified in project documents. oDemolish existing skylight and provide new as detailed and specified in project documents. oDemolish existing scuppers and provide new as detailed and specified in project documents. o Remove, repair, paint and reinstall existing mechanical screen. o Provide a complete fall protection system as detailed and specified m project documents. The Engineers estimate range for this project is $1,990,440 -$2,985,600. Time limit for substantial completion of the work is 200 calendar days. The WMBE utilization goal is 5% for this contract. Mandatory 15% apprentice Labor hours of the total Labor hours are a requirement of the construction contract. Workforce diversity goals for this apprentice participation are identified in the Section 01 32 45 Apprenticeship Program. Bidders may contact t he Department of Labor & Industries, Apprenticeship Section, to obtain information on available apprenticeship programs. By submission of a bid, the Bidder certifies they will comply with all local, state, federal, and other laws, rules, regulations, and other requirements applicable to its operations relating to environmental responsibility, worker safety, Labor, anti-discrimination and anti-human trafficking. The Bidder/Proposer is also acknowledging that it will adhere to the Values and Standards of the Port of Seattle. A copy of the Third-party Expectations is included, in Document 00 83 00. The Port of Seattle, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that, it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, colour, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability in consideration for an award.
