Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Cremona, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 8,640-square-foot, one-story above grade retail development; and for site work for a retail development.
The objective of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit Proposals from qualified Design-Build Proponent teams for the provision of design and construction services of the County’s new Cremona Grader Shop located at SW 4-30-4-5 to the west of Highway 22 and the north side of Township Road 300. The proposed facility is to be a 6 bay Heavy Duty Equipment Storage Facility consisting of a wash bay, 5 equipment bays, 2 offices, training room with kitchenette, lockable parts storage room and 2 bathrooms. The building is proposed to be oriented in a general north/south alignment as shown on the Site Plan. Overhead doors shall face eastwards on the building Approximately 160 ft. x 54 ft. Total of 6 Heavy Equipment storage bays: All bays with 16ft. x 16ft. overhead sunshine doors. One Welding outlet at selected location in bays. Exhaust ventilation design to be via building HVAC system. Hardened concrete floors sloped to integral trench drains. 12 ft. of concrete apron along front side of the building to provide access at each bay door. LED lighting fixtures. 24 ft. x 36 ft. training room Kitchenette with cupboards, sink, fridge, dishwasher and microwave in training room 2 offices, 1 with south facing window Natural gas backup generator Power connections for owner supplied equipment. Underground Holding tank for sanitary waste Underground Holding tank for floor drain runoff Two washrooms, each equipped with a toilet and urinal: one featuring a shower and the other incorporating a storage closet Relocation of a 36ft x 54ft tarp building
