Description

Demolition, site work and renovation of a civil project in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Scope consists of demolition of five (5) tanks and other structures, installation of three new tanks, two new buildings, and other related work. They advertise that bids must stay valid for 60 days from the bid date, but they stated at the pre-bid meeting that a notice to proceed will be issued April 24, 2025. The substantial completion date is August 27, 2027 with a Final Payment date of December 10, 2027. So that gives us 28 months to build it. There is a lump sum base bid with three deductive alternates. There are no unit prices. The project has prevailing wage rates, issued with the specifications.
