Reference Number 0000378557 Job Location: 0233 Airport Road, Aspen, CO 81611 Question Deadline 03/20/2025 at 2:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No Pitkin County is seeking proposals for airfield maintenance and pavement rehabilitation at the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE). This project will be funded in-part or in-full by the FAA, and it is expected that all proposers acknowledge that all aspects of this project will be performed in compliance with Federal, Local, and/or State regulations, laws, ordinances, and/or public health orders. This airfield maintenance and pavement project at the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport includes the following: Runway 15-33 - pavement maintenance and partial pavement rehabilitation Taxiway A1 - partial pavement rehabilitation Taxiway A9 and Taxiway B9 - localized pavement repairs Commercial Apron - pavement improvements and pavement maintenance Deicing Apron - trench drain repair Vehicle Service Road (VSR) - localized pavement repairs. All stated work falls under one bid schedule (Schedule I) and is locally funded. The runway maintenance and pavement repairs include limited partial pavement rehabilitation (3 to 6-inch depth) as well as localized shoulder repair (4-inch depth). New runway surfaces will be grooved. New pavement markings will be applied where existing markings have been disturbed. The Taxiway A1 partial pavement rehabilitation includes areas of 3-inch depth asphalt mill and overlay. The Taxiway A9 and Taxiway B9 localized pavement repairs include asphalt shoulder repairs (2 to 4-inch depth). New pavement markings will be applied within the Taxiway A1, Taxiway A9, and Taxiway B9 project areas. The Commercial Apron pavement improvements and pavement maintenance includes 10-inch depth asphalt removal and 10-inch depth concrete replacement, crack seal, seal coat, and new pavement markings. A limited trench drain repair located on the Deicing Apron is included, approximately 6 to 10 feet in length. The VSR localized pavement repairs includes 4-inch depth patch paving.
