Project description: Project No. 58082, Bloomfield Village (Yellow) A Contract for 4 Hma Surface Over Aggregate Base With Full Depth Cold Milling Hma Removal and Total Curb and Gutter Removal/replacement, Total Underdrain With Sodded Shoulders and Minor Drainage Improvements on 13,631 Lineal Feet or 2.60 Miles of North Glengary Road, Sandingham Way, Hemsworth Court, Courtleigh Terrace, Aberovey Place, Twin Maples Lane, Indian Mound Road, South Indian Mound Road, West Indian Mound Road, East Indian Mound Road, and Indian Mound Trail, Located South of Quarton Road and West of North Covington Road in Bloomfield Township, Oakland County, Michigan. Michigan Department of Transportation pre-qualification classification for this project is preferred: 7,107 CB or 7,107 EA Project No. 58092, Bloomfield Village (Gold) A Contract for 4 Hma Surface Over Aggregate Base With Full Depth Cold Milling Hma Removal and Total Curb and Gutter Removal/replacement, Total Underdrain With Sodded Shoulders and Minor Drainage Improvements on 11,055 Lineal Feet or 2.09 Miles of Clifton Road, Morningview Terrace, Chewton Cross Road, Chewton Road, Hamilton Road, North Cranbrook Cross Road, North Williamsbury Road, North Glengary Road, and South Chewton Road, Located North of Maple Road and West of North Covington Road in Bloomfield Township, Oakland County, Michigan. Michigan Department of Transportation pre-qualification classification for this project is preferred: 6,437 CB or 6,437 EA Special instructions: When M.D.O.T. prequalification is required, a bidder, at the time the bidder submits the bid, must have proper classification and numerical rating for the work on which the bidder proposes to bid. The bidder must be fully capable of performing the work both financially and with experience in the type of work. The special provision for Full Width HMA Pavement Construction shall be added to the proposal book. The work shall consist of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) construction in accordance with Section 501 of the 2020 Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction, as indicated in the contract documents. QA All structures. This is a combined sewer system. The type of casting on top of a structure does not dictate where Sprayed-in-Place Structure Rehabilitation is applied. 1. Planning and Sequencing Refer to Page 97-99 of the Proposal; 20SAD403C; c.1.A A. Provide a sequencing plan and schedule as it relates to other work operations and operations of the infrastructure system, for review and approval by the engineer. Refer to Page 97-99 of the Proposal; 20SAD403C; c.4.D D. Apply coating/lining after structure cover adjustments are complete. Refer to 20SADPC Progress Clause section d. & e. This includes costs for of furnishing all necessary materials, fittings, pipes, sprinkler lines, connecting, testing and adjusting, excavation, backfilling and disposal of surplus material. Sprinkler heads and sprinkler lines will not be paid for separately. All necessary components shall be provided by the Contractor. 20SAD850C mentions the word damage six times but does not contain the referenced quotation. The contractor will be paid for the work they perform as specified in the special provision. Temporarily relocating, moving, disconnecting, partially removing, and permanently restoring sprinkler heads with at least equal quality materials and workmanship, to a functioning condition at least as good as existed prior to work beginning, will be included in the contract unit price each sprinkler head shall only be paid for once. Cleaning structures is included in the project pay items. Page 126 of the Proposal is a special provision for sprinkler systems. It does not refer to upcoming operations. The Contractor coordinates their operations and notifications. The coating/lining system will not be applied to structure bottoms. Maintaining Traffic, SAD, MAX is set at $630,000. A pay item for mobilization will not be added. Approved equal materials can be evaluated in cooperation with the OCWRC permit and Bloomfield Township after bids are awarded. All structures. This is a combined sewer system. The type of casting on top of a structure does not dictate where Sprayed-in-Place Structure Rehabilitation is applied. Plan quantities are based on best available data. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
