Renovation of a residential development in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Working plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
As of February 9, 2026, no bids received for this project. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. The Housing Authority of the City of Elizabeth Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Any Informality in Bidding. All Bidders Will Be Required to Submit a Certified or Cashier's Check to the Order of the Housing Authority of the City of Elizabeth for the Following Amounts; Ten Percent (10%) or a Maximum of $20,000; on Bids Up to $200,000; Bids Between 200,000 to $400,000 Shall Be $20,000; Bids Over $400,000 Shall Be 5% of the Bid Amount. Bidders May Use a Bid Bond for a Like Sum Executed by a Surety Company Qualified to Do Business in the State of New Jersey. Bid Bond, Consent of Surety, Performance and Payment Bonds Must Be Obtained From Bid Bond/surety Companies Listed on the Federal Register "Department of the Treasury", Circular570. The Register Will Be Provided With the Bid Documents. All Bids and Security Must Be Enclosed in Triplicate in a Properly Sealed Envelope Bearing on the Outside: The Name of the Bidder and the Title of the Bid Contained Therein. The Provisions of Affirmative Action Program (Aap) and Minority Business Enterprise (Mbe) Are Incorporated Herein. Full Requirements of the Program May Be Obtained With the Bid Documents. No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn for a Period of Sixty (60) Days Subsequent to the Date of the Bid Without the Consent of the Housing Authority of the City of Elizabeth. all Technical Questions Need to Be Addressed to Mr. Scott D Abramowitz, Project Architect, S.d.
