Adams Township Rt 228 & Marland Intersection Traffic Signal Installation and Highway Occupancy Permit Construction at State Route 0228 (Mars Crider Road) With Adams Town Road and State Route 9430 - The construction of Adams Town Road (Site Driveway A) at SR0228 (Mars Crider Road)/SR 9430 and the installation of a Traffic Signal at SR 0228 (Mars Crider Road) with Adams Town Road/SR 9430 in Adams Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. These are part of the approved PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit Plans under ePS Application Number 243432 (R.M. Nelson Properties, LLC). All work must be substantially complete within 270 days and ready for final completion within 300 days. Each bid shall be made on the form provided in the contract documents and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in a sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount made payable to Adams Township furnished by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Attention is called to the fact that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages and the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act apply to this project but bids may be held by the Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract .Adams Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award a contract in the best interest of Adams Township
