Site work for a mixed-use development in Providence, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for site work for a service station / car wash facility; and power facility.
OER Design Build Solar Car Port, Battery Energy Storage, and EVSE Installation. OER requests proposals for the design, procurement, and construction of behind-the-meter solar photovoltaic (PV) carports that incorporate battery energy storage system (BESS) and Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). The project will be installed at the states parking lot properties (Capitol Hill Campus) surrounding the Powers/Department of Administration (DOA), Cannon/Department of Health (DOH), and Department of Transportation (DOT) buildings in Providence, Rhode Island. Specifically, the parking lots are located between Park St, State St, and Smith St. All three facilities on the Campus already feature roof-mounted PV. The existing solar capacities should be considered when sizing and/or interconnecting the proposed carport PV to ensure that the projects qualify for net metering. Some of the parking lots have existing EVSE. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
