**As of April 10, 2025 This project has been awarded to Bontke Brothers Construction Co., with the awarded amount of $1,889,624.90.** the City Of Abilene Will Utilize The "best Value" Competitive Bidding Method In determining The Award Of The Contract. The City Of Abilene Will Award The Contract To The lowest Responsible Bidder Who Provides The "best Value" To The City Of Abilene. The City reserves The Right To Reject Any Or All Bids. Melissa Gorman Purchasing Administrator. For:1. Rebecca Ln. reconstruction (Catclaw Dr. To Buffalo Gap Rd.) This construction contract involves the reconstruction of Rebecca Ln. from Catclaw Dr. to the newly placed concrete completed by TxDOT for the Buffalo Gap Rd. Project. This will include removal of all material down to the subgrade, preparation of the existing subgrade, placement of geogrid material, 8" of new flexible base material, 4" of Type B HMAC, and 2" of Type D HMAC; contract shall also include placement of thermoplastic pavement markings.
