Director City of Lubbock Purchasing and Contracts Management The purpose of this project is to replace aging water infrastructure prior to roadway pavement in Lubbock, TX. B. Major work items are: 1) Furnish and install 10", 8", and 6" C-900 DR-18 waterline, including reducers, shut-off gate valves and bends installed by trench or bore. 2) Furnish and install new fire hydrants to provide adequate fire coverage. C. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials required for the complete construction of the work as shown on the drawings and specified herein. D. All work shall be performed in accordance with the most recent City of Lubbock Design Standards for Water and Sanitary Sewer construction. E. A maximum of 200 feet of trench open at a time.
