Site work and paving for a civil project in Pueblo, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, material, supplies, signage, traffic control, and other incidentals necessary to provide a Slurry Seal. A 5% Bid Bond must accompany each bid received. Security shall be either a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond. A Bid Bond shall be written on the County form, if provided, and the attorney in fact who executes the bond on behalf of surety shall affix to the bond a certified and current copy of his/her power of attorney. If the amount of the contract price is in excess of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), for the construction, erection, repair, maintenance, or improvement of any building, road, bridge, viaduct, tunnel, excavation, or other such public work included in said contract, the Contractor before entering upon the performance of any such work included in the contract, shall duly execute, deliver to and file with the Purchasing Manager or designee a good and sufficient bond, or other acceptable surety, approved by the Purchasing Manager or designee, in the penal sum not less than one-half of the total amount payable under the terms of the contract. Addenda will be mailed or delivered to each person or firm recorded by Pueblo County Purchasing, 215 W. 10th Street, Room 14, Pueblo, CO 81003 to have received complete sets of the Bidding Documents and copies will be available for inspection wherever Bidding Documents are on file for that purpose. No Addenda will be issued later than Five (05) working days prior to the date for receipt of bids, except an Addendum, if necessary, to postpone the date for receipt of bids or for withdrawing the request for bids. Pueblo County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and waive any irregularities or informalities. Due to the nature of applying slurry seal over a chip seal surface, additional slurry material may be required to adequately fill the voids in the chip seal layer and achieve a uniform surface. Bidders shall consider this when determining application rates and material quantities for slurry seal in their proposals. Layer Curing Time: A Minimum curing and waiting period of 72 hours shall be observed between the completion of the chip seal and the application of the slurry seal. This is to ensure proper curing of the chip seal, adequate chip embedment, and to allow for necessary sweeping and surface preparation before slurry placement
