Reference Number 0000288415 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/03/14 12:00:00 AM CDT Provision of hauling services for general waste and recycle from Stephenfield Provincial Park Stephenfield Provincial Park (35002 Road 37W) is located 22 km west of Carman on PTH #245. The Service Provider will supply one 30-cubic yard bulk refuse container and one 9-cubic yard recycling container at Stephenfield Provincial Park from April 1st to October 31st each year. The delivery date for the containers in April and the pickup date in October will be determined in coordination with the Park Works Supervisor and the Service Provider. Manitoba will notify the Service Provider when the bins need to be emptied. The Service Provider is required to provide hauling services within 24 hours of receiving a request from Manitoba. Hauling will occur Monday through Friday. The Service Provider must transport the full bins to a Manitoba-approved facility. Additionally, the Service Provider must either replace the hauled roll-off bin with an empty one or return an empty bin to the park on the same day. Manitoba will provide a suitably maintained container site at Stephenfield Provincial Park. The Service Provider is responsible for any tipping fees, WRARS levies, scraping fees, and other regulatory charges. Manitoba will reimburse the Service Provider upon receipt of proof of delivery, based on the weight of the bin. The Service Provider must submit all landfill weigh scale tickets to Manitoba. Disposal fees will be invoiced separately according to the actual weight shown on the scale ticket. Reimbursement for tipping fees, WRARS levies, scraping fees, and other regulatory charges will be made at cost, with no additional charges accepted. The Service Provider is solely responsible for any other additional charges. The Service Provider shall: 1. Provide experienced and qualified drivers acceptable to Manitoba 2. Provide board, room, and transportation for all personnel. 3. Be responsible for all travel time to and from the work site, as well as any communication costs. 4. Supply fuel, oil, lubrication, and all necessary maintenance for vehicles, including parts. 5. Provide vehicles, equipment, and operators for loading, hauling, and site leveling. 6. Ensure that, during the term of the Agreement, vehicles are always serviceable. If this requirement is not met, the Service Provider shall, at their own expense, provide replacement vehicles of equivalent type within 24 hours. 7. Supply vehicles capable of performing the required work in compliance with all regulations of The Highway Traffic Act and the Secure Load Requirements (M.R. 157/91).
