The City of Bettendorf, Iowa, is currently requesting proposals from qualified Contractors to provide various landscape planting, mulching and maintenance services at City Hall and in the downtown area, as well as mowing and turf maintenance at other City facilities nearby. This agreement will be for the 2025 growing season, with the option to extend up to an additional two (2) years. A pricing proposal is to be submitted for fixed rates to provide the services specified; rates shall remain in effect for the contract period. Prices submitted shall be inclusive of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, utility, transportation services, disposal of litter and debris, dumping fee if yard waste, and all incidentals necessary for the completion of all work covered by the contract documents. Failure to submit all required documents will disqualify the proposal as being non-responsive. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The award will be based upon the cumulative value of all three (3) landscape seasons. If at any time during the contract period the City determines that service is unsatisfactory, the City reserves the right to cancel the contract. Contractor will be notified of such action in writing and the cancellation will be effective immediately. If cancellation of services is made, the City will offer other contractors the opportunity to provide the described services at their original proposal price. Vendors must submit their bids electronically via the City's e-bidding system. No paper, emailed, or faxed bids will be accepted, and no physical bid opening shall be held.
