Reference Number 0000288550 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/03/10 03:00:00 PM MDT Term: 2025/04/01 02:00:00 AM EDT - 2030/03/31 02:00:00 AM EDT Option: two (2) year term This Request for Quote (RFQ) invites proponents to submit offers for the supply and installation of windows for residence buildings on the Red Deer Polytechnic campus. Windows will be required on an as-needed basis The Proponent shall provide turnkey supply and installation of residence windows, including any necessary preparatory work such as framing adjustments or structural modifications. All services shall be performed under the direction of RDP's Campus Management department and in compliance with applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws, regulations, codes, and standards. The Proponent will be expected to provide, but not be limited to, the following services: 1. Supply all necessary equipment, tools, materials, staffing, mobilization, and de-mobilization to complete the window installation services required by RDP. 2. Coordinate window installation at RDP sites while minimizing disruption and ensuring continued access as needed. 3. Provide, as required, advanced placement of protective barriers or signage in designated areas before work begins. 4. Verify and address any structural or framing requirements before installation to ensure proper window fitting and compliance with building codes. 5. Coordinate and liaise with any consultants or engineers hired by RDP for structural assessments or related building envelope considerations. 6. Complete all services in accordance with the City of Red Deer Building Code and Contract Specifications, most recent edition. 2.1.2. Window Specifications 1. Frame Material: White PVC 2. Glass Type: Dual-pane, Low-E, Argon-filled 3. Jamb Size: 2x4 4. Jamb Type: PVC 5. Exterior Finish: White PVC with 2" casing 6. Interior Trim: New trim required, painted finish The Contractor shall provide evidence of the following insurance coverage to be provided at its own expense and without limiting its liabilities herein: (a) Insure its operations under a contract of Comprehensive or Commercial General Liability, with an insurer licensed in Alberta, in an amount not less than $5,000,000 per occurrence, (annual general aggregate, if any, not less than $5,000,000), insuring against bodily injury, personal injury, and property damage including loss of use thereof. Such insurance shall include blanket contractual liability. (b) The Contractor is responsible for insuring its owned property against loss or damage on an all "All Risks" basis.
