The system should allow two-way communication in classrooms as well as some offices. A call-button is preferred for classroom installations. The system should provide one-way communication functionality to hallways, some offices, and other areas in/outside the building. The intercom system should be able to be used for drills/alarms for emergency purposes. It should also be able to be utilized as a bell system. General Floor Plans will be available at the walk through. The Onsite walkthrough will identify building materials, existing cable, drop vs. open ceiling, etc. Vendors will be responsible for taking any needed measurements during the walkthrough. The District reserves the right, where it may serve its best interest, to request additional information or clarifications from proposers, or to allow corrections of errors or omissions.
