The work shall consist of removing all or part of the existing expansion joint assemblies as shown in the plans, modifying existing expansion dam as directed in the plans to accept the new bridge expansion joint system, furnishing and placing structural concrete or elastomeric concrete for the installation of the new bridge expansion joint system as directed in the plans, and placing a new Preformed Silicone Coated Foam Bridge Expansion Joint System at the locations indicated on the plans.
