Joeris is the Construction Manager for the John Jay High School SEA addition and renovations. We are soliciting FOR AWARD for Package #1 – Demolition, Make-ready & Site/Pier Package. Proposals will be evaluated to determine the "best value" to the Owner, including, but not limited to consideration of price, qualifications, experience, financial capability, and safety. Project Description: The project consists of two packages: This scope of work being the first of the two. This first package consists of make-ready activities, site utilities, erosion control, sitework, concrete piers, and tree protection. The make-ready activities include selective demolition of canopies within the construction area to allow for building excavation/construction and establishing safe vehicular circulation path for deliveries and emergency responders. The second package which is not included in this scope of work consists of all items necessary to complete the building addition and interior remodeling of the 1st and 2nd floors of the Main Classroom Building and Automotive CTE spaces, including but not limited to: concrete foundation, structural steel framing, interior and exterior masonry, glass and aluminum windows and storefront, built up roofing systems, millwork, architectural specialties, mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, communication systems.
