Site work and renovation of a civil project in Battle Creek, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Contractor shall furnish and perform all Work necessary for the I&E Building Improvements including but not limited to: removal of the existing sludge pumps and installation of the new sludge pumps, piping and valve improvements, building improvements including brick crack repair and lintel repair, concrete stair landing replacement, HVAC improvements, electrical improvements, floor door removal and replacement, and painting, as scheduled, shown on the Drawings and specified, in conformance with the Specifications. 1. This item shall include but not be limited to the following removals: removal of existing sludge pumps; removal of existing piping and valves; removal of existing conduit, wire, disconnects, control panel wiring, and programming; removal of HVAC ventilation; removal of floor door; removal of concrete stair landing. 2. This item shall include but not be limited to the following improvements: installation of pumping equipment, piping, valves, electrical equipment, HVAC equipment and duct, crack repair, lintel repair, installation of floor door, electrical equipment, conduit, wiring, and control panels and painting, as shown on the drawings and or specified. Headworks Improvements - The Contractor shall furnish and perform all Work necessary for the removal of the existing barscreen and installation of the new barscreen including control panel, rehabilitation of existing influent piping (CIPP), lining of influent chambers and bar screen channel, installation of sample pump and associated piping, and installation of washer/compacter discharge chute and associated plant water piping, electrical equipment, conduit, wiring, and control panels as scheduled, shown on the Drawings and specified, in conformance with the Specifications. Bids may be withdrawn up to the time and date of the bid opening. After the bid opening, bids may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days thereafter.
