This notice of Request for Proposals (the "RFP") issued by The Corporation of the City of Vernon (the "City") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of channel upgrades to a portion of Vernon Creek Major components of the work include: Armouring improvements along the right bank of Vernon Creek, approximately 230m downstream of the 43rd Street bridge, including: removal of 2 mature trees, removal of felled trees within the channel; topsoil stripping, excavation, grading, removal of abandoned concrete storm pipe, and placement of riprap material; Instream works including diverting creek flows around the work area and realignment of the stream channel; Environmental management during construction; Landscape restoration planting, including irrigation; Documents can be obtained from https://vernon.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities/75235
