The Contract Documents consisting of Advertisement of Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid Proposal, Bid Bond, Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, Maintenance Bond, General Conditions, Notice of Award, Notice to Proceed, Plans, Specifications, and Addenda (if any) may be examined at the following location: JACOB & MARTIN, LLC 1925 Fort Worth Highway, Weatherford, Texas 76086 The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding of the contract. This project includes: installing approximately a 50' x 100' pre-fabricated metal building, foundation, and all incidental appurtenances for a complete project in accordance with the contract documents and plans. Award of the contract will be made as a whole to one Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract based upon alternates, and/or reduction in bid quantities as stated in the specifications. The party to whom the contract is awarded will be required to execute the Contract and obtain the Performance-Maintenance-Payment Bonds within twenty-one (21) calendar days from the date the Notice of Award is delivered to the Bidder. The Notice of Award shall be accompanied by the necessary Contract and Bond forms. In case of failure of the Bidder to execute the Contract, the Owner may, at its option, consider the Bidder in default, in which case the Bid Bond accompanying the Proposal shall become the property of the Owner. The Owner within twenty-one (21) days of receipt of the fully executed Contract documents, shall return to the Contractor an executed duplicate of the Contract Documents. Should the Owner not return the executed Contract Documents within such period, The Bidder may, by written notice, withdraw his signed Contract. Such notice of withdrawal shall be effective upon receipt of the notice by the Owner. The Notice to Proceed shall be issued following approval of the executed Contract Documents. All applicable laws, ordinances and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the contract throughout.
