Renovation of a residential development in Yulee, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The goal for the SHIP program is to aid in the rehabilitation of owner-occupied housing in Nassau County. Rehabilitation will include repairs necessary to provide general renovation of the housing stock and to correct code violations. This rehabilitation is intended to extend the life of the housing stock. Other Details All licensed contractors and sub-contractors who wish to participate in the Nassau County SHIP program must submit a complete application and be approved by the Nassau County SHIP Coordinator. This approval is based on qualifications and references. Upon approval contractors will be added to the master list of qualified contractors. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary materials, equipment, tools, labor and supervision necessary to perform in a competent and workmanlike manner, all of the Rehabilitation Work provided for in the Contract relating to the described property. 2. Only rehabilitation work as described in the Scope of Work shall be performed. No work will be provided beyond that which is included in the Scope of Work. 3. Before installing any work, the Contractor shall carefully study and compare the Contract Documents and the property and shall report at once and in writing any error, omission, or inconsistency in the documents. A Change Order shall approve any necessary changes. If the Contractor fails to report any error, omission or inconsistency and installs work according to the error, omission, or inconsistency, they shall bear all liability and cost to complete suchwork. 4. All work shall be completed in a professional workmanship-like manner and in compliance with all building codes, other applicable laws, and SHIP general requirements. 5. To the extent required by law, all contract work shall be performed by individuals duly licensed and authorized by law to perform said work. 6. Contractor may at its discretion engage subcontractors to perform work hereunder provided. Contractor shall fully pay said subcontractors and in all instances remain responsible for the proper completion of the Contract. 7. Contractor shall furnish the SHIP program the appropriate releases or waivers of lien for all work performed or materials provided before the final payment for contract work shall bedue. 8. Contractor shall at its own expense obtain all permits and insurances necessary for the work to be performed. Note: Insurance coverages are attached herein as Appendix “C” 9. Contractor shall remove all debris and leave the premises in broom-clean condition. 10. Contractor has one-hundred twenty (120) days to complete the project after contract execution. 11. Contractor must supply their own utilities, including bathroom facilities and temporary power pole. 12. Contractor must supply a POD for storage of homeowner’s items.
