Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in East Windsor, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Bid description : All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Bids are to be marked in a sealed envelope with the name of the project, "Rear Playground Improvements at Ethel McKnight Elementary School", plainly marked on the front of the envelope. Bidders are requested to submit in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18(b)(2) one Lump Sum Bid for all the work and materials. The Contract Documents may be obtained on CD ROM at the same office location for the NON-REFUNDABLE FEE of $35.00 (Thirty Five Dollars) made payable to "Edwards Engineering Group, Inc." If shipping of Bid Documents is required, then bidders may provide their direct shipping account number to Edwards Engineering or include a non-refundable $50.00 mailing fee. Further information may be obtained by calling the School Business Administrator, Paul Todd, at 609-443-7717, extension 2028. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, treasurer's check or Bid Bond in the form provided in the Contract Documents, with corporate surety satisfactory to the Owner, in an amount not less than 10% of the Base Bid (but in no case in excess of $20,000.00, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24), naming as payee or oblige, as applicable, East Windsor Regional School District Board of Education, to be retained and applied by the undersigned as provided in Contract Documents in case bidder would default in executing the Contract or furnishing the required bonds and insurance certificates as required by Contract Documents. In addition and pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25, each bid must be accompanied by a certificate from a surety company stating it will provide said bidder with a bond in such sum as required by the above referenced statute. Prospective bidders are advised that this Project is one which will be subject and will be governed by provisions of New Jersey State Law governing (a) Prequalifications of Bidders N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26 et seq., additionally each Bidder and his Prime Subcontractor(s) (if applicable) shall be prequalified with the NJ Schools Development Authority in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:7G-33, (b) Prevailing Wage Rates N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.27, ( c ) Use of Domestic Materials, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-20 including any amendments and supplements thereto, and (d) P.L. 1977, Chapter 33, (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) listing corporate/partnership names and addresses for individuals with a share of 10% or more. "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act" became effective on April 11, 2000. A copy of the certificate must be included in the bid package for the bidder and any subcontractors. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 all business organizations that do business with a local contracting agency are required to be registered with the State and provide proof of their Registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue before the contracting agency may enter into a contract with the business. All bidders shall adhere to the information as classified as "New Jersey Business Registration Requirements. Monday 3/10/25 Deadline for Questions at 5:00 P.M Bidders must comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, Chapter 127, N.J.A.C. 17:27 Law Against Discrimination. No bidder who is on the State Treasurer's or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended, or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible to bid on this Project. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for opening of bids. In accordance with applicable law, the East Windsor Regional School District Board of Education retains the right to waive irregularities in any bid, and/or or to reject any or all bids for failure to comply with the bid submission requirements/specifications, in accordance with applicable law. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the East Windsor Regional School District Board of Education.
