The City of Rocky Mount Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a contractor to provide labor, supervision, and equipment for the construction of approximately 7,920 Linear Feet of Natural Surface, Multi-Use Trail in Sunset Park, Rocky Mount, NC. Vendor shall be a member of the Professional Trail Builders Association (PTBA) or like professional Natural Surface Trail Builders Association and demonstrate experience and expertise in building IMBA / USFS standard trails. Submit Written Questions Contractor Tuesday 3/04/2025 5:00 PM Written questions shall be e-mailed to casey.pilgreen@rockymountnc.gov by the date and time specified in the proposal schedule. Contractors will enter RFP # 320-130225CP -Questions as the subject for the email. The Bidder has the responsibility to make a good faith effort to solicit minority proposals and to attain the aspirational ten percent (10%) goal. We encourage all Bidders even MWBE/HUBs to obtain the aspirational goal where subcontracting and supplier opportunities exist.
