Description

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Peace River, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Scope of work is expected to include: 1 - Modifications to the headworks to install new mechanical screens and grit removal systems. 2 - Updates to the aeration blowers and provide building envelope upgrades to the space. 3 - Installation of a second clarifier tank on the WWTP. 4 - Updates to the activated sludge pumping systems and scum pumping systems to accommodate the additional clarifier. 5 - Refurbishment of the internal components of the existing clarifier. 6 - Address required phosphorus removal systems. 7 - Address future required disinfection equipment that may be required by the province. TIMELINE: A prequalification process was initiated in spring 2025 to engage a multi-discipline engineering firm for Prime Consulting services. Further project details and schedules may be confirmed in spring 2026.
