As of May 6, 2025 project was awarded to Rorie Stone Construction, LLC in the amount $485,690.20. The scope of work consists of the placement of Gravity Sewer Main, Sewer Force Main, One Lift Station, and Manholes, Removing Existing Manholes, Abandoning Existing Sewer Mains and Abandoning Existing Force Mains, Reconnecting Sewer Service Lines, including all Materials, Equipment, Labor and Incidentals to complete the work as required by the plans and specifications. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, surety in the amount of 5% or U.S. Government Bonds (equal in value), to Texarkana Water Utilities to accept the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
