The proposed work includes some or all of the following and is anticipated to commence in April 2027: o The supply, installation, and establishment of plant material, including wire basket caliper trees, container grown shrubs and container grown perennials, within landscaped planters, and/or any other softscape areas within the Regional right-of-way, and other specified areas, as defined on the contract drawings. o Establishment activities for trees including watering, re-application of mulch, monitoring of stakes and ties, and conifer wrapping. o Establishment activities for shrubs and perennials including watering, litter and debris removal, perennial deadheading, weeding, pruning, cutting back woody and herbaceous plant material, cultivating and fertilizing and re-application of mulch. o Supplemental manual watering of trees, shrubs, and perennials. o Maintaining and performing minor repairs to the low volume / drip centralized irrigation control system managed by Rain Bird irrigation controllers including irrigation system opening, site inspections, and system closing (i.e., winterization). o Monitoring of the low volume / drip centralized irrigation control system through the Rain Bird IQ software platform for scheduling and addressing system notifications, including alerts and warnings, from the irrigation system. o Providing all vehicles performing contract works with an automated vehicle location system that meets the Regions specifications and is accessible to the Region.
