HVAC Unit Replacements Project . Required Licenses: California Contractor's License (B or greater); Valid City of Sacramento Business Operation Tax or County of Sacramento Business License. All contractors, subcontractors, and all concerned must comply with the rate of wages per hour as established by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) under provisions of Sections 1770 and 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, or such other rate of wages as may hereafter be established by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations in compliance with Section 1770 of the Labor Code of the State of California. In accordance with Sacramento City Code Section 3.60.180 and Section 1782 of the California Labor Code, the payment of the general prevailing rate of per diem wages or the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for holiday and overtime is not required for any public construction projects of $15,000 or less. The Work shall consist of, but not limited to the following: A. 1515 8 th Street 1) The Contractor is to pump existing unit down, remove all existing Refrigerantand dispose per EPA regulations. 2) The Contractor is to disconnect & remove the following (5) existing rooftop gas pack HVAC units: #4) Model # BYC130G3L0AA (11 Ton), Serial # Y30143795D, 208/230 3 Phase #7) Model # BYC130G3L0AA (11 Ton), Serial # Y30143794D, 208/230 3 Phase #8) Model # BYC130G3L0AA (11 Ton), Serial # Y30143781D, 208/230 3 Phase #12) Model # BYC130G3L0AA (11 Ton), Serial # Y23143421D, 208/230 3 Phase #16) Model # BYC170G3L0AA (14 Ton), Serial # Y30143960D, 208/230 3 Phase 3) Supply and install (4) new Trane 10.5-ton gas pack HVAC units or acceptableequivalent. 4) Supply and install (1) new Trane 15-ton gas pack HVAC units or acceptableequivalent. 5) The Contractor is responsible for the crane associated with removal of existing equipment from the roof and lifting new equipment up. Any City sidewalk or street access or permits is the Contractor's responsibility to coordinate. 6) The new units shall be installed on the existing platforms. If necessary, the existing platforms are to be rebuilt or replaced and made weather-tight. 7) The Contractor will provide new curb adapters for each of the 5 newunits. 8) If necessary, replace existing electrical conduit on the roof with new durableweatherproof flexible conduit of same size, roof penetrations are to be water-tight. 9) The Contractor will provide and install (5) new 3 phase fused disconnect. 10) The Contractor will ensure any roof penetrations are made water-tight. 11) The Contractor will provide proper start-up and deliver fully functioning system 12) The Contractor is responsible to protect the existing roofing from damage. 13) The Contractor will properly dispose of all the removed units/hardware. 14) Cleanup work area.
