Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (online) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide GSU - Water Treatment Chemicals to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Georgia State University (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this online. Georgia State University (GSU) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to furnish Water Treatment Chemicals in accordance with the technical specifications furnished in this Request for Quote (RFQ). This agreement between Georgia State University GSU and the vendor hereinafter referred to as contractor, is for the water treatment of HVAC systems, to include closed chilled water loops, closed hot water loops, Boiler water systems, and open condenser loops with cooling towers. All products shall perform to ASHRAE, AWWA, AIHA industry standards. This request aims to establish a partnership with reliable vendors who can consistently deliver high-quality chemical products in accordance with the universitys needs. Overview of the online Process The objective of the online is to select one or more qualified suppliers to provide the goods and/or services outlined in this online to the State Entity. This online process will be conducted to gather and evaluate responses from supplier for potential award. All qualified suppliers are invited to participate by submitting responses, as further defined below. After evaluating all suppliers responses received prior to the closing date of this online and resolution of any contract exceptions, the preliminary results of the online process will be publicly announced, including the names of all participating suppliers and the evaluation results. Subject to the protest process, final contract award(s) will be publicly announced thereafter. Last day for questions is March 3, 2025 at 2pm. Answers will be provided by March 6, 2025.
