Reference Number 0000379079 Each week on an assigned day (see Sanitation Route Map), the City's contractor collects and disposes of refuse and recyclables from single family and condominium residential homes and mobile homes. Currently, there are also approximately 87 businesses that receive weekly curbside refuse collection and disposal (6 bag limit per building). Compost collection and disposal occurs from approximately mid-March through the first week of December. The contractor collects compost in paper bags or up to 32-gallon refuse cans to which a minimum of two compost stickers (supplied by the City) are affixed. There are also several 96-gallon park, bus stop, and municipal building carts to be emptied. The selected bidder will also be responsible for providing appropriate front load containers and recycling containers for pick-up at municipal buildings and parks (see Section III (D)).
