Repair of County Bridge. O-037 - Old Cheney Rd approximately .27 miles east of South 1st Street. The Contractor shall have the right to enter the property shown on the plans to accomplish the work in this Contract. It is the intent of this Special Provision to limit the Contractor's use of the existing and new right-of-way, temporary and permanent easements, or right-of-entry areas to those portions actually required to perform the work under this Contract as directed by the Project Engineer. The Contractor will not be permitted to disturb those areas which are not directly related to work required under the Contract. The Project Engineer will have the sole authority to determine what portions of the property may be disturbed. The bidder proposes to furnish all necessary equipment, tools, machinery, apparatus, and other means of construction; to do all work and to furnish all materials and labor necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Plans, Specifications, and Special Provisions, in particular all requirements contained in the section "Method of Completion". The contractor shall commence said work on or after April 23, 2025. This project will be considered a 20 working day project as well as meet any requirements set forth in the "METHOD OF COMPLETION" section. A contractor may begin work on the contract before the date specified herein, provided the contractor has received a notice to proceed from the County, such change is acceptable to the County Engineer, and the contractor has received written permission from the County to do so. The County reserves the right and will be free to evaluate the proposals based on the low bids for a combination of any or all parts or groups the County sees fit or desires. The bidder must bid all items on the proposal(s). All work awarded will be awarded to one and only one bidder. Question Deadline 03/14/2025 at 2:00 PM CT.
