Without limiting the specifics of these requirements, the work generally consists of: .1 Alterations to the existing Girls and Boys Washroom in the south wing to meet AODA requirements. .2 Two (2) new inclined platform stair lifts and associated works. .3 Removal of existing standpipe system in south wing of school and associated works. .4 Door operators at gymnasium and general purpose room. .5 Revisions to life safety devices to meet AODA requirements. .2 The site for the work is located at the following SCDSB site: .1 St. Anne Catholic Elementary School, 4500 St. Michel Street, Hanmer, ON. Bids are to be accompanied by a security deposit in the form of an electronic or digital Bid Bond from a surety company licensed to carry on business in the Province of Ontario in amount of ten (10) percent of the Bid price. .1 Provide a signed "Undertaking of Insurance" on a standard form provided or as provided by the Insurance Company stating their intention to provide insurance, as identified in Section 00 80 00 -CCDC2 2020 Supplementary Conditions. .1 Provide insurance to the Bidder that their company and workers carry a minimum of $10,000,000.00 in commercial general liability in accordance with the insurance requirements of the Contract Documents and Standard Construction Document CCDC 2. .2 Automobile Liability insurance is respect of vehicles that are required by law to be insured under a contract by a Motor Vehicle Liability Policy, shall have limits of not less than $10,000,000 inclusive per occurrence for bodily injury, death, and damage to property, covering all vehicles owned or leased by the Contractor. .3 The Insurance Policy shall include endorsements for insurance of the Owner and the Consultant.
