Site work for a water / sewer project in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Potential subcontracting opportunities include but are not limited to surveying, clearing and grubbing, hauling, asphalt paving, striping, traffic control, erosion control, seeding, linework, flatwork, and fencing. All quotations will be accepted up to the closing time of the bid date. Please advise if assistance is needed with obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or insurance/bonding to satisfy the work requirements. We are willing to accept quotations for all or partial quantities and items of work. We can offer 2-party check payments and quick payment agreements, but the agreements need to be negotiated prior to the bid date. This item is covered in line item A-17 15 RCP (in roadway) & Bedding Stone. 22LF of pipe to be installed between proposed CB-5/CB-6 and 18LF between existing CB-3/CB4. The removal of 163LF of 15 RCP is incidental to the installation of 167LF of 18 HDPE due to it being in the same location and trench. Use onsite material for the back fill. If found to be unsuitable the City is adding Line Item A-28 Select Borrow 80 CY. The bedding stone and backfill requirements are the same as shown in the City of Fayetteville s Standard Details DR-1. Doubled walled HDPE pipe is required. The Owner is responsible for initial testing. The Contractor is responsible for any additional testing resulting from failed test. A maintenance bond is not required on this project. Section 02931 Sod paragraph 1.05.B.3 is not applicable in this contract. Paragraph 1.06.D does apply in this contract. The type Temporary Pet Protection Fencing will be 4 foot chain link fencing ground mounted stable enough to contain the pet. The contractor will follow the City of Fayetteville s Standard Detail SD-11.1. The width and depths will be determined in the field and paid accordingly. There are no Milestones in this contract The removal of 163LF of 15 RCP is incidental to the installation of 167LF of 18 HDPE due to it being in the same location and trench. The City has the invert data on the existing sanitary sewer and verified that there is no conflict with the storm drainage. Temporary driveways and maintaining access is incidental to construction. The limits of driveway removal will be determined in the field and paid according to applicable unit prices.
