Bid results will be available at www.questcdn.com following the Bid opening. The Work shall be completed under one Contract and consists of all labor, skill and materials required to properly construct the Project. The Project generally consists of SCADA system expansion at 4 different locations. Including supply and installation of instrumentation and new control panels for 4 locations, and new electrical services at all 4 locations. See electrical drawings for additional improvements details. Bids shall be submitted online no later than the date and time prescribed. For this project, the City will only be accepting online electronic bids though website. To access the electronic bid form, download the project document and click the online bidding button at the top of the advertisement. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through website for bids to be accepted. The provisions of Minnesota Statute 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this Contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to this Invitation for Bids shall comply with the provisions of the statute. The website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cash deposit, certified bank letter of credit or certified check made payable to the City of Shakopee, Minnesota, in the amount of 5 percent of the total bid amount, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract within the time specified and at the price bid. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the date of opening of bids. The Shakopee City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or technicalities in bidding and to determine whether a bid is responsive or non-responsive. The City Council further reserves the right to make a bid award to the lowest and most responsible bidder as determined by the City Council.
