Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a water / sewer project in Watseka, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and for asbestos abatement for a water / sewer project.
As of April 11, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 22, 2025. Bids may be withdrawn prior to the expiration of the bidding period, but any such withdrawal shall disqualify the contractor from the Project. No bid shall be withdrawn after the bid opening until the earlier of the consent of the City or forty-five (45) days following the expiration of the bidding period, as may be extended. Each contractor submitting a bid shall include a cashier's check, certified check or bid bond (AIA Document A310) guaranteeing its offer to contract with the City if awarded the same and to perform and complete said work in accordance with its bid and the Contract Documents. The security shall be made payable to the City, without condition, in an amount of no less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate bid amount. Any contractor awarded the contract for the Project will be required to post a performance bond and labor and material payment bond in a penal amount equal to the contract price.
