Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Jonesboro, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 22,800-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The scope of the project includes a new 22,800 sf PEMB gymnasium. Interior spaces include an entrance Jobby with seating area, concessions, and separate restroom facilities. The gymnasium area includes a main basketball and volleyball court and striped areas for (2) secondary full basketball and volleyball courts, (6) fold-down basketball goals, volleyball sleeves, and scoreboards, and maple sports flooring, and accessories typical for a competition level high school gymnasium. Home bleachers shall be fold-down seating with bench seating and visitor seating shall be bench seating only. Four locker/shower areas open directly off the gymnasium with centrally located coaches area and private restrooms. Other accessory spaces include a laundry/storage room, (2) classrooms, storage area, and fire riser room. All mechanical equipment to be located in the mechanical mezzanine above the coach offices and locker areas. The building includes all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Site work includes removal of existing trees for new parking area and driveway entrance connecting to State Hwy 36. The new parking lot also connects to the adjacent parking areas onsite. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Jonesboro ISD, Hamilton County, Texas, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award and eliminate a portion of the work or add additional work as required to keep the total contract amount within the funds budgeted; to award any part or combination of parts of the project it deems necessary; and any other rights established under the laws of the State of Texas.
