Renovation of a residential development in Laredo, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Bidders are strongly encouraged to submit their proposals electronically through use of Cit-E-Bid or in person - hand delivery. Mailed Bids (i.e. USPS, FedEx, UPS), telegraphic, emails or facsimile bids will not be considered. The City of Laredo has established a local vendor preference ordinance 2018-O-175. All informal and formal Requests for bids for contracts will be evaluated with a 5% preference for local vendors. SCOPE OF WORK: Repairs at Hamilton Senior Apartments #307 (Studio) 1. Remove and re-install the new ceiling tile in the bathroom and kitchen. Before new ceiling installation, perform deep clean for all over ceiling areas at kitchen and bathroom area. 2. Install LED lamps in the kitchen, bathroom, and where needed. 3. Replace three GFCI, eight electrical plugs, and four switches, for kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and hallway areas. 4. Replace faucets for kitchen and bathroom sinks, install all necessary plumbing hardware for supplies lines in the kitchen and bathroom. For shower tub provide a complete shower trim for shower tub installation included. 5. Remove and re-install new sinks in the bathroom and the kitchen. 6. Replace commodes and pipes. 7. Add stains and varnish in the kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets and paint kitchen Formica. 8. Prime and paint doors, frames, and window frames. Install vinyl window blinds for all windows. 9. Paint the walls of the whole unit and ceiling (Two coats) and patch where needed. 10. Replace the range hood of 30". 11. Provide and install A/C / DC smoke alarms. 12. Remove carpet and existing VCT to the entire unit and install new VCT tile in to the entire unit. Provide labor and installation for PVC base board molding 9/16 x 3 1/4 to the entire unit. 13. Windows repairs where apply only. 14. Remove the dishwasher where applicable and cancel the water service. b) To be a partner with the Village in being open and flexible with providing a plan for an A/V buildout for the board room and control room. It is vital that areas for increased efficiency and reduced costs are constantly sought out, communicated, and shared with the Village. c) To gather and/or synthesize internal and external stakeholder feedback and incorporate changes into the board room and control room redesign. d) To provide a description of the overall solution, equipment and vision for the Village's A/V buildout.
