The Parish is accepting Statements of Qualifications for engineering services for the design of two (2) fixed permanent diesel backup generators, associated ancillary components, and foundation structures in accordance with federal disaster relief program requirements. The project will include two (2) back-up generators at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex located at 3211 Grand Caillou Road in Houma, including a new 300 KW generator installed at the workforce building and 1000 KW generator installed at the adult facility. Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government, through this RFQ, will be identifying one or two engineering firms deemed eligible to perform work within Terrebonne Parish. The selected firm(s) will be assigned based on the strength of the firm's qualifications in designing and construction of back-up generators and elevated infrastructure. The approved project requires engineering services to develop engineering and oversee the purchase and elevated installation of two generators for redundant power during storm events or other energy disruptions. Qualified firms should have properly certified personnel available to complete the initial engineering within ninety (90) days of contract award.
