Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ripon, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: roadway and utility reconstruction of Hamburg St from W Oshkosh St to the south approximately 1,600' and Hennie St from Hamburg St to Pacific St. Utility Construction: approximately 2,200' of PVC water main (6" -8") including valves, hydrants, appurtenances and services; approximately 600' of PVC sanitary sewer (8") including manholes and laterals; approximately 1,900' of storm sewer, RCP and HDPE (12"-30") including manholes, inlets, and endwalls. Roadway Construction: approximately 2,000' of roadway excavation and grading, geotextile fabric, breaker run, dense graded base, hot mix asphalt, concrete, gravel, and asphalt driveway replacement, concrete sidewalk and concrete curb & gutter. Tree removal, clearing, grubbing, site restoration, traffic control and erosion control are included in the project. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. This project anticipates the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funding. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. This project anticipates use of funds related to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). The Contractor shall conform to the statutory requirements known as "Build America, Buy America" which applies to all of the iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project. Bid Proposals may be denied if the requirements of this section are not met and waivers are required. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project.
